I'm looking into possibly getting a new laptop. I really like the Dell XPS models and they should be decent enough at playing the odd games. However I have noticed that I can get an M1710 off ebay with a Go 7950GTX for around £500 as opposed to an M1730 brand new from Dell with SLI 8700M GT fro close to double that. From looking around it seems that the 7950GTX will actually beat the SLI 8700 in a lot of games and is the better card. Why have Dell stopped selling the 8800GTX in the M1730 and and replaced it with a card worse than the one in the M1710? Thanks.
