Windows XP query

I used to have a Samsung V25 laptop until it exploded (not literally) so I got a PC instead.

With the laptop I got 2 cd's, one with XP home edition on and the other with all the laptop drivers.

Is it legal to put XP on my computer using the XP disc?

I would say yes its legal. as long as you only use it on your new pc and nowhere else
