Windows Vista Home Premium OEMAct HP?

Hi everyone!

I have a clients computer that is an HP desktop. It has HD issues and they didn't backup or make a restore CD for the OS. So I don't have a CD to re-install the OS and the HD partitions are messed up so I can not access either partition (HP puts the OS on a second Partition).

So my question is... is there a version of Vista that I can install that will let me use the OEMAct HP Vista CD key? Or do I have to get a HP Copy of Vista?

Any help would be awesome. I have a legit key but no CD.

Any thoughts?

Give HP a call. If they're nice they might send you a CD.
