Windows Media Center tv tuner

I have just bought a brand new AVerTV studio 303P tv tuner, I installed it and got it working, when I try it with the media center it says no tv tuner found check hardware or tv tuner driver. The salesmansaid that it should work, or is he just bluffing ?

Probably bluffin, u shud have checked to see if media centre had certain compatible cards!!

hey thanks for replying I just checked the site, it has AverTV on it but not the exact model, but it isn't an old tv tuner, it has also a compatible with Xp sign on the box, but I know that has nothing to do with it.

Get in touch with avertv and ask if ur model is comaptible with media centre, it may just require a patch or update!! U never know!
