When your in Everest just click Computer then look at the summary. Scroll down to the storage section. You shoudl see a IDE controller on the top. Underneath you'll see several storage controllers. Double click on the right hand side.
This will bring up a device description of all the installed controllers. You'll see your hard drives listed in there. Click on your harddrive. Now on the bottom menu you'll see all the Disk Device Physical Info.
Scroll down to the bottom and it will have the Interface. It should be listed as either Sata or Sata II if its a sata drive. Otherwise it would show IDE.
