What does a computer need to turn on?

Hey guys I just started trying to move my old hardware over to a new case (and add a new PSU and video card) but I'm having trouble getting the computer to power up...mostly due to the front panel connectors.

I do not have my motherboard manual anymore and all searches online gave dead links -.- so far the HD LED and Power LED give me a blue light but the Power SW and Reset SW are still needed to be plugged in

Can anyone tell me after these everything that is necessary? I'll update with a picture soon!

Ahh I'm not exactly sure, maybe that's why I'm having so much trouble

It came inside of an Acer m5100

i couldn't readily find the mobo type, but this is the internal specs of your computer if it helps, though it dosnt say what the name of the mobo.

Does the Power SW go right near the other connectors? and would this turn on the computer?

usually if you look close enough, next to the pins were these plugs go (usually the bottom of the board), on the board its self, it will say "PS" and "RS" or something, stating that is were the switchs plug into.

maybe next time you should make note of were it all goes lol

Haha yeah I see that on all mobos and I am screwed..haha
I guess it was the excitement of the new stuff...I just took everything out hah
