Warning your CPU

while booting my pc the following message appeared warning CPU has changed, or CPU ratio changed fail, please re-enter settings in the CMOS setup and rember to save before quit
I am at a loss here as I do not have a clue any help would be most welcome
I am using VIA p4m266a mainboard for intel socket 478 processor

Well, go into the BIOS and load Setup Defaults. Exit and Save. It should be okay afterwards.
 
enter the bios by pressing a key, usually something like F1/F2 or delete when booting. It should tell u which key to press. Then from there set the cpu settings to the original values manually, or just select the default settings. (this will most likely set the whole bios to default, so I'd suggest changing the cpu settings manually) Also if u can't manage to change anything in the bios, u can pull out the cmos (the small battery on the mobo) and keep it out for like 10 minutes. This will also reset the bios to the default factory settings.
