Video Cards

I want a video card that supports Open GL and works with directx 9. I'm going to use this to play games such as doom 3, f.e.a.r, stalker (when it comes out), bloodrayne, and some of the better games. Any suggestions? Also, something not too expensive.

If you have AGP, your best bet is the Geforce 6800GS which is a great mid range card if you don't have too much money, but it'll play all the latest games with no fuss, and can be overclocked too to higher levels, since its basically a 6800GT with masked out pixel and vertex shaders, and these can be unlocked easily using online guides with no hassle.

If you have PCI-e, your more open to the better cards than that but that is the better one of the AGP range, though expect to pay a premium for the latest technology on PCI-e, like for instance the rather more expensive Nivida 7800GTX.
