Hey.

Since I've obtained and installed my Zalman cooler (120mm fan size), my video card fan takes a lot longer to slow down when booting into Windows... When it is up high (before the "Welcome" screen appears) it is so noisy, but then it will slow down upon appearance of the desktop. Well, it used to. Now it takes a good 10 minutes to go down! I haven't changed any settings or anything, but I'm thinking it may be because of the CPU cooler, because it (being a big 120mm fan size cooler) is much closer to the video card than my old stock one. My temperatures are fine though: CPU idles at 30-32, system (motherboard) usually around 34 Celsius... So absolutely nothing is hot! My CPU rarely goes above 45 Celsius or so anyway, but that's under load and even then I can't hear the fan! How can I get it to slow down earlier?

i think riva tuner lets u set the rpms for different temperatures so give that a try or u could get a zalman for your vid card as well
