URGENT Need help flashing my bios

Well i Need to update my bios today... and i created a boot disk in win xp and booted it so i can use the comman prompt to flash my bios... BUT when i type C:\ it gives me a message saying "Invalid Drive Specifacation"

How am i supposed to flash the bios (I am a noob at this please help)

well personally i have a program that flashes BIOS for me. It was a utility that came with my motherboard. If you can find another program that does that to download, it makes things very easy.

Usually, you put your BIOS flashing tool and BIOS ROM in the floppy. Then it would work.

EX:

A:\AMIFLASH 002463.ROM

Well since the exe is called awfl833c and the other file is w7061vms.140

i would type

A:\awfl833c w7061vms.140

Unless you have a major problem with your computer flashing for a minor update could turn your baby in to a paper weight. If you really need to have this, get a shop to do it for you. or that could be the most exspencive center peice that you ever bought.

Alright guys i did it

but it didnt fix my cpu heating problems (thought it was the sensors)
