Upgrading RAM

Hey guys, I have 2 512MB of Kingston Value Ram that I just bought. I currently have a Compaq computer. It has 512MB of RAM. Do I replace the Old Ram and just POP in the new Ram? Or Do i have to do some things in the BIOS.

Yes. U just take the old one out, put the new ones in and it should start working.
