Unique connection name ?

Hi guys, I've had b/band installed, and the dial up won't be disconnected for another 4 week's, tried to install the dialup number at my daughters place, the computer rang the number ok, but I got a error display, PLEASE PROVIDE A UNIQUE CONNECTION NAME, what's dose that mean?.

You will need a logon name to connect to the ISP, and it will have to be one thats not in use, so im guessing its that. Could be wrong tho.

Hi, I'am using my original user name, and password, the only difference is that the dial up is from another house phone, but I am dialing up on the origional ISP number.

Are you using the same connection name at home aswell tho? If you are then the ISP will see that the same user is trying to connect in 2 different locations. It also might be something to do with it being on a different IP address aswell
