Two Questions All!

Question 1: Quite Simple, I am buying a new graphics card for my main computer. Should I go with a 7800GT or a 7900GT? A 7900GT is going to cost me about $60 more so I need to know if it is worth the extra amount.

Question 2: For another computer, I need to upgrade the graphics card so it will run The Sims 2 with a decent frame rate. I also don't want to spend more than $100 cdn so I was looking at something like an FX5500. The card also has to have an AGP interface obviously.

Question 1 -I'm reading a lot of great reviews for the 7900gt. Overall, the 7900gt is better in all aspects, more pipelines, higher core clock, and higher memory clock. Both cards are gddr3 but I just think the 7900gt's are worth it for the price.

Question 2 - Don't get the Fx5500, thats just a crappy line of graphics cards. I'd go with the 6600. This Asus plays Bf2, HL2, Doom 3 plays pretty well. These are pretty much the most graphic intensive games I think of so when this card can handle them you know you got a keeper. Go for the 6600gt, if you got more money!

Ive got the 5500, runs Sims fine! - Seriosley, if you aint used the card, dont diss' it lol

Its not a bad card for games like that, I can runs Sims on medium settings without ne probs..
