Transparent Vista Taskbar?

Is there anyway to make the taskbar in Vista transparent, not only when you're at the desktop?

When i'm at the desktop, the taskbar will become transparent, but when I open something then it turns to flat black.

yh have your windows restored and make them as big as your whole screen minus the taskbar

If you maximize a window your taskbar turns black. Just hit the maximize button again then resize the window to fit the screen. This will keep the taskbar transparent.

A big +1 on that. It gets annoying resizing windows sometimes to keep the Aero going.

Why would this bother you though? The taskbar is like 1% of the whole screen. I think I'm totally missing the point here.

Actually yeah its transparent when a window isn't maximized...I just want it to be transparent anyway.
