as an incoming MIT freshman undergraduate, I am debating between purchasing a lenovo thinkpad t60p or a dell latitude 820. I enjoy gaming and expect much graphics design and computer programming while at mit. Portability will be important, but I don't mind lugging an 8-pounder or a widescreen laptop. Which laptop would you recommend getting? I have familiarity with dell products as my brother bought a dell latitude 810 three years ago; however, I have never seen or used a thinkpad in real life. So, I will especially appreciate suggestions based on personal experiences.
