If you take your pc offline does it use less ram therefore letting the computer run at normal speed even when running multiple programs. I am maxed out ram wise and just would like to know if I can keep the speed up by going offline.

Thanks

I would say it would affect it slightly. But, I'm not sure..wait a little more for the other guys to give you a sure answer. How much RAM have you got in it?

are you sure its the web browser or is it that you have too many programs running in the background?

Nope. Just being connected to the internet uses no memory. It's only when you have a program open that accesses the internet is where the RAM usage goes.
