Strange Lines Appear over screen sound distorded.

Sorry if this is not a hardware issue I wasnt sure where to make this post.

I just bought a brand new lap top I have been using it a couple of weeks but now its acting wierd... Randomly multi color lines will appear on the screen and the audio will make a loud sound. I can do nothing but turn it off...

It used to only happen once every couple of days but now its several times a day...Unfortunitly I do not know anything about PCs... any advice?

I took pictures but I dont know how to post them on here.

That usually means the screen or video card is bad.
Make sure you have updated drivers, I suggest using Driver Max
You could post those pictures on cloud services like Box.net or Photobucket and post the link here to.
