Straaaaaange overheating problem

I just had my computer cleaned and new thermal paste applied by Geek squad about an hour ago. My computers cpu temp has doubled from 40C to 80C I'm very confused.

hah geeksquad sucks. I dont trust them at all. and plus they over charge majorly when you can easy clean and put the paste on yourself! I guess the only reason not to is because of a warrenty. but if you dont have a warrenty. Then open it up man and check it out your self. Take the heatsink of and see how much of that thermal paste is really covering your processor

Just curious to how much you paid?
