Steam Problem

I'm trying to install steam. Whenever I do, at 27% done, it says "You can only run 1 copy of steam at a time". Although it's the only one I'm running. I tried deleting and reinstalling, but no good. Please help me.

try turning off all the back ground programs runnning like firewalls and anti virus programs and anyother nonessential programs

press ctrl+alt+delete and make sure only 1 steam is running.

click the 'Processes' tab first though

I already did that, but I'll try turning off my FW. Thanks for the tips!

That happens a lot because Steam sucks. Try restarting your computer. That usually works for me.

Firewall did it. Another reason why zonelabs SUCKS!
