What do you think the best soundcard is for pro recording applications?

I'm here. What exactly are you recording and how much are you looking at spending?

I'm recording many styles of music with guitars, pianos, vocals, bass and many others. I'm also doing plenty of midi stuff. I'm looking to get into 64 computing and will probably end up get the latest 64 bit cakewalk Sonar application.

I noticed that most card go up to like 96kHz, but some go up to 192kHz. Is that going to make that big of a difference?

I'm willing to spend alot if it's worth it.

this got decent reviews, I'm really not sure, I'm not big on sound cards, hence the one that's in my PC, lol sound blaster live.
