HELP!!
it won't uninstall.....long story short, heres what i did

1) It wouldnt install properly, so i attempted to uninstall it, and i think i accidently deleted a crucial registry key

2)now it shows up in the windows uninstall manager, but its kinda greyed out so you cant select it to do anything

3) when i try to re-install vegas, it says that its already installed

what do i do?!

Maybe if you delete "Sony" from Program Files. And then try to reinstall it. This is a suggestion from a newbie, so don't take my advice too seriously.

I have already tried deleting the folder in program files

i have also already tried revouninstaller, thats how i accidently deleted the registry key in the first place, now vegas doesn't even show up in revouninstaller

Hmm. Try running CCleaner. Install it and run it in safe mode. It's a long shot, but possibly worth a try. Won't take long at all.
