Hey all,
Sometimes when I disconnect my computer speakers and plug in my headphones, my audio and video will stop working.
For example, I just did the aforementioned action and connected my headphones (computer was on the entire time).
Now, three youtube videos I had already opened will not play more than 3 seconds of video, and audio does not work at all. BUT, system sounds work...??? The beeps and boops are all functional, but audio (iTunes, WMP, online, etc) won't work.
I know that restarts cure this, but i'm just curious as to why this happens.
