I need help. I have these 80 dollar ear buds. I was in shop class and it got caught on the vise and the bottom portion ripped off of the middle section. Since i dont have my receipt, ill have to fix it myself, or drop another 80 bucks on a new pair.

Anyway, I opened the box (noise canceling chip is inside) and the wire just ripped out of the soldering on the pcb. So I guess if I solder it back it will work right? But, its a weird wire. Theres 3 wires, uninsulated, red, green and copper. They all have a thin thread through it like a cotton thread. Im not sure how to solder this wire, I cant even understand how it is conductive when theyre right ontop of eachother with no insulation.

So if you know what kind of wire this is and how i can solder it, please help. Thanks
