Alright, I haven't really experienced this one. My brother has a Lenovo IdeaPad Y730, which is a pretty damned decent computer. It's HDMI ready, so we enjoy hooking it up our massive tv now and again. The first time we did it, it worked perfectly. The second time we had to tweak the sound settings to go to the HDMI cable. Now today, we hooked it up to his new tv at his house; the sound won't work at all. You'll test the speakers and if you're trying to use the tv they won't work at all, but if you use the laptop speakers you'll hear the dings of the test sounds, but it won't play any sound from the net browser, iTunes, etc. Anyone know what's up?
