So I use a western digital HDD for storage, and 2 days ago, I just opened a file from it, and it just went to the dumping physical memory blue screen, never happened before and so without thinking I just restarted it without letting it dump the memory. So I turn the computer back on and it only reads my master drive. It acts if my slave drive is not there at all. I disconnected and reconnected all power chords and ATA chords.

What should I do?

Odd. You checked to make sure the IDE and power cables are fully inserted? Is it on it's own cable or on the same cable as the master?

SATA I guess, it uses that special chord that's blue that connects to a different part of the motherboard. not ide.

Hmm.. Only things that come to mind are reinstall SATA drivers, SATA enabled in BIOS?

Mi mind is gone. It;s sleepy time. Hopefully someone else had some ideas. Good luck. :D

Is it possible that since the drive lost power while dumping memory, that it is now dead?
