Sky + Hardrive

hi 2 questions

1. is it hardrive, harddrive or hard drive

2. the real question i got a sky+ box and my 12 month contract almost up and so is the warranty on the sky + box so what i usually do with all 12 month contract is cancel after 12 months and take it out again so i get new box e.g less repair bills. but i have loads of stuff on my sky + hardrive what type of drives r they ? could i plug it into my pc is it ide or sata ??? or some new style .

i just wonna get all my stuff from it off onto my pc reallty

1. Hard drive (technically, it's hard disk drive or HDD)
