hi i'm using a best v92 serial modem my dialup is slow 26.4bps my problem is after i use my modem a few minutes it just quits transfuring data its like memory or something has filled up i can disconnect and reconnect and its good for a few more minutes about 10 minutes thanks for any help

Have you tried looking for an updated driver for the modem? Post the make and model aswell

its a [best 56sx-92 data fax modem]its exturnal and uses serial connection thanks
