second hd

i have a 80 gb hd that i want to use for gaming, but when i try to install the sims 2, it said that some files are missing, please save the file somewhere else. does anyone know why this is hapening, and can someone tell me the steps on how to install games on that hd from the beginning.

Dont we all love software errors.lol.

Have you tried installing Sims2 on your main hard drive? does it work? it might need files on the first drive, like internet files or some jazz like that. Tire installing a simple game on the second hard drive and choose the path of where the game should be installed. e.g. 2nd hard drive.
