ok. im using ubuntu right now. and i cant change the screen resolution. well, i found the option to change it, but it only lets me use 640x480. ya. so everything is way too big. but that is the highest screen resolution that my monitor supports, so might that be the reason why? anyway, plz help, b/c this is REALLY annoying

thanks

lol. i kno. its like 3 yrs old. but it works. so u kno. but i can change the resolution in windows and it looks fine, but it just wont work in linux. so iono

you have to run the ubuntu system config command off a terminal...i forgot it though. it will come up with a bunch of questions and itll ask what resolutions you have available. you can hit space bar for everyone you want. this help at all?
