Samsung Printer Trouble

I tried to print this document, so I pressed file-->print--->print. But then a popup named "Print to File" appears and asks me to select a file path. WTF?! All i wanted was to print a page. So i just followed along and saved it to desktop. And all it did was make a .prn file which could not be recognized. What can i do?

Did you select your printer? Have you got a printer installed?

Yes, i installed all the drivers and connected the printer to the computer.

so when you goto print, is the printer listed there? What software are you wanting to print with?

Well, i finally fixed the problem. Its sorta weird, cause i restarted my PC and installed the drivers automatically with windows xp. And it worked. But thanks for your help raffaz.

You mean you never restarted ya pc after installing the drivers? Thats the first thing you should try if you have problems mate
