running dual channel memory?

It should work. Be sure to put them on the same channel. Such as the Corsair in DIMM1 and DIMM3, and the G.Skill in DIMM2 and DIMM4.

So you're only getting 1GB? Why not another set of 2x1GB Corsair?

i would, but is it worth it to spend $40 more to run 4gb on xp and vista?
i know xp only has a max of 3.5gb.
does upgrading more ram increase framerates on games?
is there a place to buy single corsair xms2 memory?
i would buy 1gb now, and but the other 1gb later if there was, but it seems like all they have is dual channel kits.
i sent in a rebate for my corsair back in May 21st 2008, and i havent got my rebate back yet.

If you're running XP, you should be fine with 2GB as that's the sweet spot for gaming. But if you're going to be using Vista, another gigabyte or two will help.

I haven't seen any single 1GB sticks of the Corsair you have for sale. Rebates can take some time. They tend to show up just after you had forgotten that you even sent one in.

i will try to get another XMS2 when i get enough money, i guess ill just run Vista on 2gb for now, and try to invest in the OCZ StealthxStream or the Antec Basiq PSU, i think its time i get a reliable one.
