Rip DVD to Raw Video

Does anyone know a program that I can rip a DVD to mpeg or avi?

Just Google the phrase mpeg to avi, or dvd converter. You'll get a whole list of them. I'm currently trying to test a few, which are try to buys, but if I can get them to do what I need, I'll recommend one of them to you. Someone here should know of some good ones. I'm looking for sort of the same thing, so I'll let you know when I find a good one- that's free.

lol yeah I have been looking fo rthe past week...
go to www.xilisoft.com and get the DVD to WMV or Pocket PC Ripper... the only problem is that it only converts at about 0.75x

search DVD Decripter...its good my dad and me use it all the time...works great.

... dvd decryptor doesn't allow me to save as raw video... I think it just allows me to save .iso files

AVI isn't raw video. It's the DVD's VOB format compressed. Since VOB is humongous (it's probably 3gb-4gb in size), you compress it into AVI or MPEG to save space. However, this usually reduces the overall quality of the picture, which is why I just burn DVD's so I can experience the full quality as origin from the original DVD.
