Reformating

I have a 160 gig Hard drive partitioned into two drives, D and C. I have windows xp sp2 on my C drive and my media on my D drive.

Can I reformat my C drive and reinstall windows and not harm my D drive with all of my media. I have over 50 gigs of media that I don't want to loose and I have no DVD Burner.

well yer, if you have partitioned it then yer, do it threw disk managment.

Not a problem at all. That is the main reason most people create a partition for win and another for media. That way WHEN windows screws up, you won't lose all your media. Just be sure to format the proper drive.
