its hard to find a good gaming computer for under $300. If you want to play the latest games on high settings, you will need to spend about $800 more or less, for medium settings about $450-$500 more or less.

you should check your other post to see what i said about the Dell.

no... because its a single core, has 512mb of ram, and i dont think it has a graphics card.

joga could you put together something pretty good, I already have speakers, monitor, just need a computer

yes. that is really good, it might cost around $700 - 800 to build.
the only problem with that is that its a bid, and the price will rise through the roof in the end.
i will try to help too, under $300, might be a little hard, but at least its a challenge.
but quick question, do you plan on upgrading sometime later?
and do you know how to build a computer?

yep that looks good.
and maybe add another 1gb or ram, and add a graphics card later when you have money.

heres my attempt if you still want to build your own, its $310 without shipping, and before MIR

with those, you can play games around medium settings depends on what games you play.
the ones that JogaBonito1502 are great if you got the money. The problem with mine is that you wont be able to use PCI-E 2.0, and Quad core. (which costs a lot of money (around $300 more or less to get a quad/ a card that uses pci-e 2.0)
but mine is more of a budget build

EDIT - and follow this guide if you are going to build you own
