Random Shut Down

I had a random shut down a memory somthing issue cam eup. I was almost done with a misson on guild wars. And now I gotta restart. What could of caused this problem. Could it be a virus? if so has there been any real big issues with viruses. I'm running norton now.

Does a window with a big cross on it saying you have 1:00minute before you pc shutdown?

I don't think so. It happened when I clicked on ok on the dialog box that had the error. I ran anti-virus nothing found.

perhaps bad memory, run memtest86 on your memory
