So with the release of the P5Q-E I will be assembling the long over due box in about a month or so, I realized that on the P5Q board allows DD2 1200..although I can only find 1 gig sticks of this stuff.

I'd like to utilize 4 gbs RAM, would I be best going 2x2 DD2 800? Or shelling out 1x4 DD2 1200?

Thanks for any advice.

It doesn't matter if your sticks are in smaller quantities...

I wouldn't go with either, go with DDR2 1066...there's an awesome G.Skill kit on newegg (just search best rated) 'bout $80 for 4GBs of 1066...

Agree with this, that is a great deal, here they are: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231166
And if you don't go past ~450FSB, you can always just run them at lower timings.

Less strain on the NB with less DIMMs populated.
