radeon x700 a good card?

F.E.A.R's requirements are reidiculous, and if you turn down the quality, it looks like absolute shit and runs like it. The game is too difficult to be enjoyable, I don't like the game. Nevermind that, but keep in mind, that this has to be a top of the line card to run F.E.A.R. Call of duty 2 and cs:s run fine on my shitty video card, so it will likely work with that one.

I don't know exactly what the card is, I'm not really up on video cards.

The ATI Radeon X700 is decent at best. If you want a good card get the 6600 GT or X800 GTO.

Yeah, F.E.A.R. is ridiculous...and the gameplay isn't that, that great. I only like the particle effects.

The 6800 GS is a really good card. So is the X800 GTO2, but only if you're fortunate enough to get a R480 core. There's also PowerColor's X800 GTO 16 which comes with 16 pixel pipelines instead of the stock 12 that comes with the regular X800 GTO.
