Quickie for you MAC fanatics

I don't even consider them computers...lol

BUT! My boss found a G4 lying around a house he was cleaning out, I've gotten it to power on etc but to my surprise this home user has a password set..

I know nothing about Macs, anyway to reformat without the password? We are obviously looking to wipe it, so it doesn't matter if anything is lost.

OSX is loaded on the beastly thing

lol *update* his "Filevault" password hint is "filemaker"

any pseudo cryptologist's have a clue what that could point towards?

Reinstall the same way as windows by inserting the disc in the CD drive...

Well I just wasn't sure if I could reinstall without the passwords and of course I don't have any of the software as we found it.

I wonder if Apple has any freeware OS's......lol...not

Looks like my boss can buy a an OSx copy and have himself a G4, thanks.
