I created a presentation to be viewed on a 32" Philips Plasma display. I created the presentation at 1280 X 768 (wide aspect ratio) viewable resolution.
When I plugged the display into my video card it only gave me two options for resolution, 800 X 600 and 1024 X 768.
After three hours of screwing around...
I had to unplug the plasma then plug in my computer monitor reset the computer, and was able to set it to 1280 X 768, then I had to unplug the monitor and plug in the plasma to get the desired resolution.
My question is this, Does the monitor tell the video card what resolutions it can handle or does the video card just have a set of resolutions it can display?
Has anyone else ever experienced this??
