Not many of you probably know about the EPU-6 engine: its a program that is available for the ASUS P5Q line of motherboards. Even though it is apparently designed for power saving and environmental friendliness, I have it installed and set to "turbo mode" which apparently offers the greatest performance.
I'm just curious if anyone knows if the EPU-6 engine actually lowers performance regardless of how it is set, and whether I should uninstall it completely to ensure the best performance for my system. Much appreciated!
