PSU problems?

Well im gonna pick myself up a HD 3850 512mb gddr3

to go with my new 22in moniter but i was wondering dont you need a certain required amount of wattage in your psu for it to handle it? It doesnt say it under the specs, and i dont know the wattage of my psu think this would be a problem?

I looked on the ATI website and found the minimum specs for the psu and they are:
# 450Watt or greater power supply with 75 Watt 6-pin PCI Express power connector recommended.
# For ATI CrossfireX: 550 watt power supply or greater with two 6-pin connectors.

As for the wattage of your current psu, I might look in the documentation that came with your computer. If there isn't anything there then use Google. It might take a little digging, but Google is your friend.

Just look on the side of your PSU to see the wattage.
