Hi everyone I got all my things today to set up a wireless network in my house and everything was set up fine and all the networked computers are working bar one and it is to do with the range. No more than 6 metres away the signal completely stops even though another of the computers which is roughly 10 metres away and behind a wall continues to work.

Is there anything you can suggest as I think it might be something more than just the range and I also hope it isn't because surely the signal can travel more than 10 metres

all laptops using xp, all are sp2 except the one that isn't working

the router is a Buffalo WBR2-G54S-1 and the problem network card is using a compatible buffalo wireless network card

thanks as always guys

sorry, i made a mistake, one of the laptops that "is" working is also only running service pack one so maybe the lack of service pack 2 on the problem laptop is not a factor

many thanks
