Printing Wirelessly

Hello
Hope someone can help. I have a lexmark X5440, it uses WI-FI to connect to ur computer, it says its connected to my computer but when i go to print it says the computer can not communicate with the printer and visa versa. I did a ping and it came back all good, so i dont know what to do. It wont print!!!!

Can anyone plz help?

i have never printed wirelessly but i think u have to have bluetooth to do that

Why would you need bluetooth for a WiFi Printer...

Hmm....I saw one of those printers in Walmart the other day, I don't know anything about them so I really can't help you.

I dont suppose it's anything to do with workgroup's or anything? Or maby you have to Verifiy your MAC address with the printer or somthing?

Well lets start from the beginning, have you installed everything correctly according to the instructions? Are all the settings correct as they need to be? What does the instructions say about how your router and pc has to be set up?

Have you got the computer setup as a workgroup? Have you got file and printer sharing enabled on the workgroup? Have you installed the printer drivers on the computer your trying to print from?
