i had a laptop that has stopped working a was beyond repair i didnt back up the files but i bought a new laptop and was told that i can some how transfer the c drive information not the ataully c drive to my new laptop does anyone know how please please please please help

I can't find the name of the manufacturer, but I've got a USB to IDE adapter in my office that comes with a part that converts from 3.5" IDE connections to 2.5" IDE connections. Something like that would allow you to recover the data from the drive, provided the drive wasn't damaged.
