please suggest SSD for a SATA2 PC Win7

I recently installed a newer techologly SSD Samsung EVO 840 120 GB for my LT I did'nt know at the time that I would not recieve the full potentioale of the newer techologly because my LT was a SATA2.

in order to recieve full benifit of this SSD I would need to have SATA3.

I'd like to upgrade my SATA2 PC w/ a SSD should I be concidering older techologly or stick w/ newer techologly even if I won't recieve full benefit?
