It's alright for graphics or video rendering - it's not going to be any good for games though with Intel graphics.

750GB is a pretty beastly hard drive for a laptop - i've not seen many laptops with drives that size in this price range. Music and movies is pretty much what this laptop is designed for probably. Obviously downloading is more dependant on your internet connection - but it will definitely store plenty and have decent playback quality.
