Please help with bluetooth connection

I just purchased a bluetooth doongle for my desktop. I loaded the software and I have a connection with my headset I want to use while I excercise. It says there is a connection with my headset. But when I go to play a song from a folder I told the software to look for, nothing happens. I hear no music through the headphones. How do I play music through my bluetooth headphones? Thanks

Ok, I figured out why it didn't play. I had to convert my mp3's into wma's. But now when I am done using my headphones and I want to play music from my normal speakers the file is playing but I don't get any sound. I disconnected my bluetooth headphones and unplugged the bluetooth doongle and still no sound but I can see the file playing but that's it no sound. thanks
