Please Help

today i changed my case it has higher powered fans n stuff n when i tried to start my computer everytime it would freeze at the login menu so i just went through everything one by one with process of elimination and when i unplugged my cd drives from the molex it worked ...does that mean i need a new PSU

im runnng P4 3.0 Ghz 1GB Ram PNY Geforce 6600 AGP 256mb 5 case fans 2 w/leds one light thingy on the front and a thermaltake hsf and heatsink oh yean a cdrw and dvdrom running on a 420w psu....does anyone know if thats enough wattage for what i have?
