I have the HDD and the power comes on. Then my computer just keeps giving this continous long beep. I cant find this anywheres in the beep code. The long beep probably lasts five seconds, pauses for one, and then starts again. Any help would be appreciated.

Long beeps like this usually signal that theres a memory problem. Check the memory FSB is not too high, the modules are correctly seated in their slot and that they are definatly working. Most beep codes are generic across all brands of motherboard and bios and this signifies a memory problem. If it's not the memory, I reckon it's a duff mobo.

Oh, have a bit of patience too.

Yes agreed, your problem with RAM, is thier an error message a tall?

I think your better resetting the CMOS and then trying, prehapes you used cheap RAM, store brand - never a good idea.
