pc to mac

i have a microsoft os notebook (use as a desktop replacement) and ive been considering buying a secondary notebook (apple) to be my use around campus thing... but the only thing i really like about the mac is the style of it; desktop and how the programs minimize and stuff... is there anyway to get a mac type emulator (spyware/adware free) on a pc, cuz xp is soooooo boring, and windows blind made my system unstable... thanks for reading and your time
